התחלנו לתכנן את התפילה לימים הנוראים. למרות כללי הקורונה, אנחנו עדיין מקווים להתפלל בשני המניינים הרגילים – אחד בהשכמה ואחד במועד מאוחר יותר – תוך שמירה על כללי ההרחקה, אבל ייתכן שנוסיף עוד מניינים קטנים.

We have started planning this year’s yamim noraim davening. With the current corona restrictions, we hope to be able to fit into our usual two minyanim – one hashkama and one at a later time – while keeping distancing rules, though we might need to add extra, smaller minyanim.
If you are interested in volunteering your time and skills as a baal tafkid – whether davening, leining, blowing shofar or acting as gabbai – over Rosh Hashana and/or Yom Kippur, please contact our Gabbai Rashi, Zishe Rich on 054-594-7171 or by email at gabbai.ramot@gmail.com to sign up. If you’d thought about taking a role over the yamim noraim, but the size of “audience” has made you nervous in the past, this is a great opportunity to start small! Just let Zishe know you’d prefer to volunteer at a mini minyan.
Keep your eyes peeled in the upcoming weeks for membership and seat registration. Given the extra difficulties with corona distancing, we will be closing seating registration earlier than usual.
הרב ממשיך את שיעורו על פרקי אבות בשבת אחר הצהריים. השיעור יתקיים ברחבת בית הכנסת תוך הקפדה על הכללים, בשעה 18:30. כולם מוזמנים להצטרף (בעטיית מסכות, כמובן!)
Rav Kannai will continue his Shabbat afternoon Pirkei Avot shiur this week. The shiur will take place outside shul, adhering to social distancing rules at 6:30pm. All are invited to attend (wearing masks, of course!).
הצטרפות למאגר האנשים שמוכנים להשתתף במניינים ושאינם בקבוצת סיכון תעזור ותקל על המתפללים הקיימים במניינים.
כעת יש לנו בימי חול 2 מנייני שחרית, מניין מנחה ומעריב, פעמיים קבלת שבת, ופעמיים שחרית שבת בבוקר.
כל החוקים הרלוונטיים יאוכפו (עטיית מסכות, הבאת סידור וטלית מהבית, שמירת מרחק של 2 מטר וניגוב כל איזור אחרי שימוש) בכל תפילה.
A larger pool of not-at-risk minyan attendees would help to ease the pressure on those currently partaking in our minyanim.
We are currently running 2 shacharits, one daily mincha and maariv, 2 kabbalat Shabbat and 2 Shabbat morning services.
We are upholding the legal and recommended social distancing at all services, davening outside where possible, using tashmishei kedusha from home, wiping down areas after use, and with all participants wearing masks.
