We are happy to celebrate Nachman Raphael`s bar mitzvah this Shabbat. Mazal tov to Nachman, his parents Tsipora and Aryeh, and the rest of the family. The Raphael family invite the community to a Kiddusha Rabba in honour of Nachman’s bar mitzva after the 9:00 tefilla.
חוזר השבוע את חוג לימוד התורה מלווה בשוקו. בואו לבית המדרש ע”ש שולמית בשעה 8:00 בשבת בבוקר. נלמד בחברותות (הורה וילד, סבא ונכדה, חברים…ברוכים הבאים!) הרב קנאי ישתתף בע”ה ללמוד עם מי שלא הצטייד מראש בחברותא. וכמובן, יוגש שוקו וקפה.
Return of the Cocoa Club! – Shabbat Morning Learning. Please join us at 8:00 Shabbat morning in the Shulamit Beit Midrash for learning b’chavruta (parent-child, grandparent-grandchild, friends all welcome). Rav Kannai will attend be’H to learn with anyone who comes without a chavruta. Hot cocoa (and coffee) will be served!

חברים ומשפחה יקרים,
במלאות 11 שנים לפטירתם של צ’ק (חיים זאב), רוברטה ובת-שבע ברנשטיין זכרונם לברכה נעלה להר המנוחות לזכרם.
העלייה לקבר תהיה ביום שישי 5.10 כ”ו תשרי.
בשעה 9:30 נפגשים בחניה בכניסה להר המנוחות ובשעה 10:00 עלייה לקברים.
השנה לא יהיה שיעור ולא יהיה מפגש לאחר העלייה לקברים בהר המנוחות.
פרטי הגעה לקברי משפחת ברנשטיין בהר המנוחות:
ממגרש החניה בהר המנוחות נכנסים בכניסה השמאלית לתוך בית הקברות.
במזלג הראשון יורדים שמאלה – על פי השלט “דרך 1 – דרך מותרת לכהנים”
מגיעים לצומת ראשונה, ממול בהמשך הכביש ישר יש שלט “אין כניסה” ולכן פונים פנייה חדה שמאלה – אין אפשרות אחרת.
נוסעים כל הזמן ישר במגמת ירידה על “דרך מספר 9” – עד שמגיעים למזלג נוסף – פונים שוב שמאלה על פי השלט “דרך מספר 9”, עוצרים וחונים בצד.
החלקה נמצאת בצד שמאל.
הקברים נמצאים בגוש מ”ז חלקה ה’
Dearest family and friends,
It has been 11 years since we lost Chuck, Roberta and Batsheva Bernstein, and we will be going to Har Hamenuchot to remember them.
The aliya lakever will be on Friday, 5 October, 26 Tishrei. We will meet at 9:30am, in the parking lot at the entrance to Har Hamenuchot, and at 10:00, we will visit their kvarim.
This year, there will be no shiur or get-together after visiting their kvarim on Har Hamenuchot.
Instructions how to reach the graves of the Bernstein family:
At the parking lot of Har Hamenuchot, take the left entrance to the cemetery, at the first fork, turn left down the hill – the signpost says “Derech 1 – permitted to Cohanim”
At the first junction, there is a no entry sign opposite, and you turn sharp left – there is no other option.
Continue straight on a dornward slope, until “Derech 9” until you arrive at another fork, and take the left again, as the sign points to “derech 9”, stop and park at the side
The section is on the left.
The kvarim are in gush mem-zayin, chelka hei.
