עקב ההנחיות החדשות של משרד הבריאות להמנע מהתקהלויות של קבוצות של מעל 100 איש, החלטנו לדחות את השבת עם המרצה האורחת רבנית ד”ר תרצה קלמן שהיתה אמורה להתקיים השבת.
מחכים לארח את הרבנית קלמן במועד מאוחר יותר.
Due to the Health Ministry’s new guidelines discouraging gatherings of over 100 people, we have taken the decision to postpone this week’s planned scholar in residence, Rabbanit Dr Tirza Kelman’s visit to our community.
We look forward to rescheduling and welcoming Rabbanit Kelman at a later date.
היה פורים מאוד מוצלח במצפה רמות השנה. הרבה אנשים נהנו מהקרנבל לאורך כל הערב, אכלו פופקורן ושערות סבתא וצפו במופע קרקס מהמם.
תודה לצוות המתנדבים שעבד כל כך קשה על הערב הכיפי: לאה ודני אבל, ריקי פרוידנשטין, קיילי הבר, מנחם הנדלסמן, אריקה מזי, שרה ושלמה סמוביץ, דוד קורמן, וסקוט שפס.
תודה גם לוועדה שהכינה לנו חבילות משלוח מנות המדהימות: עדינה גרץ, שרון הנדלר, פרידה ווזניצה, חיה לבון, רינה לואיס, רייסי מילר, רות קילנר, וג’ודי שנק. תודה גם לקיילי הבר וצוות הנהגים שהביאו את כל החבילות ליעדיהם הנכונים.
קרן החסד הצליחה השנה לגייס מעל ל 110,000 ₪ במבצע הפורים השנתי, רק קצת מתחת למטרה של 125,000 ₪. סכום זה איפשר חלוקה נדיבה של מתנות לאביונים ביום פורים ויאפשר לקרן החסד להמשיך לתמוך במשפחות הנזקקות בשכונה במשך עוד כמה חודשים. כל הכבוד ותודה מקרב לב לכל מי שתרם למבצע זה.
Purim was a wonderful success at Mitzpe Ramot this year. Lots of people enjoyed the carnival throughout the evening, eating popcorn and cotton candy, and watching the amazing circus performer.
Thanks to the team of volunteers who worked so hard to make the evening a success: Dani and Lea Abel, David Corman, Riki Freudenstein, Kaily Haber, Menachem Handelsman, Erica Mezei, Sarah and Shlomo Samowitz, and Scott Sheps.
Thanks also to the committee who worked so hard to bring us a beautiful mishloach manot package: Adina Gertz, Sharon Handler, Ruth Kilner, Chaja Lavon, Rena Lewis, Reisie Miller, Judy Schneck, and Frieda Woznica. Thanks must also go to Kaily Haber and her team of delivery drivers for ensuring the packages arrived at their intended destinations.
The Keren Chesed raised well over 110,000 shekels in its annual Purim drive, just slightly short of our 125,000 shekel goal, sufficient for a generous distribution of matanot le’evyonim on Purim day and the continued support of our needy families for a few more months. Kol hakavod and thank you from the depths of our hearts to everyone who donated!
