NEW! From this Shabbat, there will be a rotation of parents in Gan Hashablul from 9:00 to 10:00 on Shabbat morning to keep an eye on kids ages 3 to 8. This allows parents to bring kids to Cocoa Club at 8:00 and have them play in the park from 9:00 until groups begin at 10:00. One parent will be assisted by 2 teenagers. All are welcome to join our new learning program. The weekly Gemarah page/amud program is starting this Friday morning, 26th of Shvat, Feb. 1, 9 am, in the Shulamit Beit Midrash. Rav Kannai will teach the Seventh chapter of Masechet Shabbat. By keeping pace of a page/amud per week, we will gain a good balance between Iyun and Bekiut, depth and pace, and will finish the chapter within 4-5 months. The shiur will be given in English.

The shul is clearing out space in the beit midrash. There are several seforim that are no longer useful. If anyone would like to take one or several, the books for giving away are located on the desk in the bet midrash, as shown in the above photo.
Please keep the place tidy, and do not remove books from anywhere else in the bet midrash.

יהיה תפילת מעריב בשעה 22:00.
Thursday Night Beit Midrash Program. The shul and beit midrash will be open for chavruta learning from 20:30 to 22:15, along with cholent & kugel to help bring in the Shabbat spirit a little early. Dayan Yehoshua Pfeffer will give a shiur on inyanei choshen mishpat. Maariv at 22:00.

This Friday night, the community is invited to an oneg Shabbat at the Lipmans` home, 18 De Lima from 8-11 pm. Men and women are invited, but please do not bring children.

On Wednesday, 6 February, from 6pm-10pm, there will be a blood drive at Ramatayim Tzofim shul, 3 Mishol Hakoranit.
17-18 year olds must bring written parental permission; there is no upper age limit for donations, but donors over the age of 65 must bring a medical ishur.
All donors must bring photo ID: teudat zehut or driving license.
