Matanot L’evyonim and Mishlochei Manot (Keren Chessed Annual Drive)
A message for YOU from the Keren Chesed
Please help us continue to give out a quarter of a million shekels worth of food vouchers to needy families in Ramot B.
Please help us continue to provide these families with dental work so that they won’t be embarrassed to smile.
Please help us continue to keep them warm in winter by buying them heaters and/or paying their heating bills.
Please help us continue to replace broken refrigerators, ovens, and washing machines.
Please help us continue to give them hachnasat kallah money.
These are YOUR neighbors, right here in Ramot B.
Please help us to help them.
Open your hearts and give generously to the Mishloach Manot campaign.

Sign up now for the Annual Mishloach Manot Project for the benefit of the Keren Chessed. Please note that the participation in this campaign fulfills the requirement for Matanot l’Evyonim and the funds will be distributed on the day of Purim.

קרנבל פורים
הקרניבל השנתי לכבוד פורים של מצפה רמות יתקיים בחצר בית הכנסת ביום ראשון, י”ד באדר (12 במרץ) משעה 14:15 אחר הצהריים, בערבו של החג בירושלים ושאר הערים המוקפות. יהיו משחקים, מזון, כרטיסים, הגרלה ופרסים בשפע! האירוע מיועד לכל תושבי השכונה (בשנה שעברה הצטרפו כ200 אנשים), אז ספרו לשכנים ולחברים. אנחנו עדיין מחפשים נערים ומבוגרים נוספים לעזור בעריכה, תפעול המשחקים ולסדר בסיום העניין. נא להודיע לנו אם אתם יכולים להשתתף במבצע.

Purim Carnival
The Annual Mitzpe Ramot Purim Carnival will take place in the afternoon of Erev (Shushan) Jerusalem Purim, Sunday March 12th, 14 Adar, starting at 2:15 pm, in the shul courtyard. Games, food, tickets, raffles and prizes! Open to the entire Ramot community (last year saw about 200 participants), so tell your friends and neighbors. We are still looking for some additional teenagers and adults to help set up, run and clean up. If you can volunteer to help make this carnival great please let us know!

On Shushan Purim, Rav Avi and Daphna Kannai will open their home (at 1 Mish’ol Harotem) to the whole community, between 11:00 am and 12:00 noon, as is their annual custom.
