Rav Kannai will be at the shul to facilitate the sale of your chametz, Thursday right after Arvit, and on Motzaei Shabbat HaGadol, from one hour after Shabbat ends.
בהמשך למסורת היפה משנה שעברה כחלק מהייחוד של שבת הגדול, בסיום התפילה במנין של 9:00, בערך בשעה 11:00, תתקיים פעילות ‘קהילה לומדת’ בה חברי הקהילה, הורים וילדים או חברים וחברים ילמדו בחברותות מקורות הקשורים לחג הפסח. המקורות מתאימים לכל הגילאים ולכל הרמות, בעברית ובאנגלית. במקביל ללימוד ייערכו השולחנות לסעודה. גם אם אתם לא נשארים לאכול – הישארו ותלמדו איתנו יחד!
In holding with our custom from last year, we are once again adding a special dimension to the Shabbat HaGadol schedule, in the form of a ‘kehilla lomedet’ session, to be held around 11:00 this Shabbat, following the 9:00 am minyan. Parents and children or members will pair up to learn together source material appropriate for Pesach. Materials will be available for all ages and levels, in Hebrew or English. At the same time, the tables will be set for the seuda. Even if you’re not staying for the meal, join in the learning!
