חדשות מהוועד החדש.
בשבוע הבא הוועד החדש יתחיל בקדנציה שלו.
מנחם הנדלסמן וטובה אוסופסקי יחלקו ביניהם את תפקיד היו”ר, ויישאו באחריות על תכניות. הם מחפשים מתנדבים שיעזרו בתכנון אירועים, הן למבוגרים והן לילדים. נא ליצור איתם קשר והבהירו מה מעניין אתכם ואיך אתם יכולים לעזור לממש את הרעיון.
דניאל גורדון ומשה פרץ יהיו שותפים בתפקיד הגזברות.
משה פרץ יהיה גם אחראי על תחזוקת המבנה.
בתשבע רייניץ תמשיך לטפל בקידושים.
ושוב אנו רוצים להביע רגשי תודה לרב סנדר שיזגל, דניאל גורדון, סם מרקוביץ, בתשבע רייניץ ויששכר פריד על
המאמץ המתמשך שהשקיעו בשנה שחלפה.
The new vaad will be starting this coming week.
Menachem Handelsman and Tova Osofsky will co-head the Vaad and will be responsible for programs. They are looking for volunteers to plan all kinds of events, both for adults and for children. Please let them know what interests you and if you’d like to make it happen.
Daniel Gordon and Moshe Peretz will serve as co-treasurers.
Moshe Peretz is responsible for building upkeep.
Batsheva Reinitz will continue to handle kiddushim.

האירוע היה מוצלח מאד והכניס לקופת בית הכנסת כ- ₪2500.
תודה מיוחדת שלוחה מכאן לטניה פרוצ’קו, ליאן פרייס ולדינה וינגרטן אשר עבדו קשה להביא את האירוע לרמה מיוחדת. תודה גם לחברי הקהילה אשר הושיטו יד עזר ביום האירוע, ולחברים אשר באו לתמוך וליהנות.
CHANUKAH BOUTIQUE
The boutique was a huge success and raised ₪2500 for the shul.
Thanks go to Tanya Prochko, Leanne Price and Dina Weingarten for all their hard work in making the Boutique such a special event.
Thanks as well to all the members who lent a hand on the day of the boutique, and to the many members who turned out to support the event.
דבר הרב קנאי
לפני שנתיים הרב שלח לחברי הקהילה מסר לקראת חג החנוכה ובו הוא שם דגש על החשיבות שבהדלקת נרות בצוותא בחיק המשפחה. המסר המלא מצורף להודעות, כמו גם תקציר הלכות חנוכה. הרב מבקש לחזור עלהדברים לקראת חנוכה שנה זו ביתר שאת בכדי להוסיף אור, בפרט בימים בהם אנו נתונים.
קטע מהמסר המקורי: ‘נהגו ישראל קדושים להדליק את הנרות בשמחה בחיק המשפחה. אני ממליץ בחום לכל חברי הקהילה לנסות להקפיד להתכנס כל המשפחה יחד ולהדליק את הנרות, לשיר יחד “מעוז צור”, ועוד. כך מתחברת לה המשפחה סביב אותו נר מצוה והבית מתמלא קדושה ואורה. מתבוננים יחד באור הנרות המאיר, הנאה, והטהור, ושואבים ממנו כוח וקדושה.’
MESSAGE FROM THE RAV
Two years ago the Rav sent to the members of our community a Chanukah message wherein he emphasized the importance of lighting candles together as a family. The full message is attached to the announcements, along with hilchot Chanukah. This year the Rav felt a need to reinforce this message, and to add light, especially in these days we are experiencing.
An excerpt from the message: ‘The custom is to gather the family together for the joyous candlelighting. I recommend to the whole community to make an effort to gather up the whole family for candlelighting, singing Maoz Tzur, and more. In that way the family binds together around that Light of Mitzva and the home fills with light and kedusha and each participant contemplates the beautiful light which spreads purity and illumination, and in return we each derive strength and kedusha.’
