Mazel Tov to Tami and Kurt Simon on the Bar Mitzvah of their grandson, Shaya, son of Elana and Daniel Kaszovitz of Neve Daniel this past Shabbat; and on the Bar Mitzvah of their grandson, Eliyahu, son of Judy and Yehuda Simon of Beit El this Shabbat.

Our condolences to Riki Fried on the loss of her sister Susan Rudolph, a”h. Riki will be sitting shiva at 18 Mish’ol Hakitron on Thursday, from 10am-4pm and from 7:30-10:30pm, on Friday from 10am-2pm, on motzaei Shabbat from 7:30-10:30, and on Sunday from 9:00am-12:00 Noon.

On Shabbat Rav Kannai will be out of the neighborhood so the following have graciously agreed to fill in with divrei Torah: On Leil Shabbat Rabbi Yosef Cornfeld will give a dvar Torah, before mussaf we will hear from David Lewis and on Shabbat afternoon between mincha and arvit, Natan Adler will give the shiur on the haftara.
אירוע המשפחות לכבוד פורים. השתתפו כ-150 איש אשה וילד ונהנו כולם. זאת הזדמנות נאותה להביע תודות לכל אלה שנתנו יד להצלחת האירוע. ביניהם משפחת שפירר שהגדילו לעשות בנתינת חסות, מנחם הנדלסמן, אהובה ליפמן, שירה תהלה ואסתר קילנר, גבריאל ויעקב סלבר, ג’וש פרייס, נחמן ונתן רפאל, ושרולי קאולאנד.
Purim family event. The event was enjoyed by over 150 people of all ages. We wish to thank the Spierer family for assisting in sponsoring, as well as to Ahuva Lipman and Menachem Handelsman for all their work in planning coordinating and setup, and to Shira, Tehilla and Esther Kilner, Gavriel & Yaakov Salber, Josh Price, Nachman and Natan Rafael, and Sruli Cowland.
קרן החסד מבקשת להודות לציבור על הצלחת מבצע משלוח המנות, שהביא פדיון של למעלה מ-₪90,000. זה מאפשר לקרן להמשיך לתמוך במשפחות נזקקות בשכונה. בפורים חולקו כ-₪27,000 בשוברי מזון, כמתנות לאביונים. בע”ה נכפיל סכום זה בקמחא דפסחא קודם חג הפסח.
The Keren Chesed wishes to thank the community for the success of the mishloach manot campaign which brought in over ₪90,000. This will enable the Keren Chesed to continue to support the needy families in our neighborhood. The Keren Chesed distributed some ₪27,000 worth of food vouchers as matanot le’evyonim on Purim. We hope to double that amount as kimcha d’pischa before Pesach.
