למעלה מ-25 שנה צד משה רוזנפלד ספרים וכתבי יד עבריים עתיקים. בדומה לגיבור הסרט “אינדיאנה ג’ונס” הגיע משה ל-4 קצוות תבל במרדף אחרי אוצרות גנוזים. משה ישתף אותנו בממצאיו והרפתקאותיו.

On Motzei Shabbat, 18 December, Mitzpe Ramot will host a spellbinding talk by Moshe Rosenfeld.
For over 25 years, Moshe Rosenfeld has been travelling around the world in an effort to hunt down and redeem ancient Hebrew manuscripts and books. Referred to as the “Indiana Jones” of ancient Hebrew books and manuscripts, Moshe’s searches and adventures have taken him to the
4 corners of the globe. Moshe will share his amazing discoveries and adventures with us.
The lecture will be in Hebrew.

לאחר הצעת תרומה נדיבה לשדרוג חדרי השירותים, מצפה רמות יוצא לגיוס תרומות גדול – “מצפה רמות: הבית שאנו בונים ביחד”. תרומות יוקדשו לא רק לכיסוי העלויות הסופיות של שיפוץ חדרי השירותים, אלא גם ישלמו לעוד שדרוגים קלים כדי להפוך את בית הכנסת למקום שנעים יותר לכולנו.

בקרוב תתחיל תוכנית הסברה טלפונית ליצור התלהבות ותמיכה קהילתית בפעילויות החדשות וגיוס תרומות בבית הכנסת. קישור ל-Paybox ישותף בקרוב, או ניתן לתרום בכל אחת מהדרכים הרגילות.
With the offer of a generous donation to upgrade the bathrooms, Mitzpe Ramot is embarking on a big fundraiser – “Our Shul: The Home we Build Together”. Donations will cover the remaining cost of the bathrooms, and we would like to do more minor upgrades to make the shul a more pleasant place for us all to be.
Any donations above and beyond will be put towards sponsoring teens’ and children’s programs, speakers, events and kiddushim.
For any donation made in memory of a loved one, an el maleh will be said in their honour, and will be announced at the lecture or kiddush sponsored in their memory. We’d also be happy to announce a sponsorship made in honour of a birthday, anniversary, or made on behalf of someone you would like to honour for any other reason.
A telephone outreach program will shortly be starting to gain community enthusiasm and support for the new shul activities and fundraising. A Paybox link will be shared shortly, or donations can be made in any of the usual ways.
