השיעור של הרב קנאי בשבת יתקיים לפני מנחה קטנה. השבוע השיעור יתחיל בשעה 18:00 בבית הכנסת . נושא השיעור “תחיית העצמות היבשות בימינו – משמעות ההפטרה לזמנינו“.

Rav Kannai’s Shabbat afternoon shiur will take place before Mincha k’tana. This Shabbat, it will commence at 6pm in the shul on the topic “Resurrection of the Dry Bones: The Meaning of the Haftara in Our Days“

כמנהג חסידים, כולם מוזמנים בליל יום שני, שביעי של פסח לשירת הים, ניגונים ודברי תורה בבית של הרב, אבן שמואל 43/1 בשעה 22:00.

As the minhag of chassidim, all are invited on Monday night, Shvii Shel Pesach, for Shirat Hayam, Nigunim and Divrei Torah at the Rav’s house. Even Shmuel 43/1, at 10 pm.

שלום ושבוע טוב לרב קנאי וחברי קהילת “מצפה רמות”
בראש ובראשונה, אני מאחל לכולכם יחד עם משפחותיכם חג כשר ושמח.
חלקכם – אם לא כולכם – יודעים שמרתה והרולד וייס ז”ל היו חברים בקהילתכם במשך יותר מ-20 שנה, מאז עלו ארצה עם 3 בנותיהם ב-1998, מאוסטרליה. מרתה, ניצולת אושוויץ, אישה מרשימה שהקדישה את חייה לזיכרון השואה, נפטרה לפני קצת פחות משנה. הרולד, בעלה, נפטר באחרונה.
חלקכם – אם לא כולכם – מכירים אותי באופן אישי (הייתי תושב רמות ב’ במשך כ-13 שנה) וגם יודעים שהיום אני בקריירה שנייה כאמרגן בתחום המוסיקה, בחסות עמותת “העולם המרהיב של מוסיקה יהודית” שאני היו”ר שלה.
כחלק מהפעילות שלנו, אנו מקדמים פרויקט ייחודי, עם הרבה מעורבות בינלאומית, בשם “אל תוך האור: חוגגים את הגילוי מחדש של המוסיקה האבודה מהתקופה הנאצית”. הנה הסיפור מאחורי הפרויקט, בקיצור: הנאצים רצחו הרבה מלחינים יהודים מכל קצות אירופה, ורבים נוספים ברחו לגלות מהרדיפה הנאצית. המוסיקה של כל המלחינים האלה אבדה לעולם (לכן הכינוי: המוסיקה האבודה מהתקופה הנאצית) במשך שנים רבות לאחר מלחמת העולם ה-II. לפני כ-40 שנה, החל תהליך של גילוי מוסיקה זו מחדש וכמות עצומה התגלתה: היום, המוסיקה שהתגלתה מחדש שמורה בארכיונים רשמיים מסביב לעולם, אבל עד היום, מעט מאד ממנה הובאה לבמה. הפוקוס של הפרויקט שלנו הוא על תיקון מצב זה – אנו שואפים להביא את המוסיקה האבודה אל תוך האור.
הפקנו ארבעה קונצרטים עד עכשיו, החל מאמצע 2022, הקונצרט האחרון היה ב”יד ושם” בינואר השנה. כל ארבעה הקונצרטים זכו לכיסוי רב-היקף בכלי התקשורת.
מאז תחילת עבודתנו על הפרויקט, מוקדם בשנת 2021, החלטנו להפיק קונצרט גאלה, לשים את הפרויקט “אל תוך האור” ממש על המפה.
כאשר נפטרה מרתה וייס ז”ל, עשיתי ביקור אבלים בשבוע השבעה אצל הרולד והצעתי לו להפיק את קונצרט הגאלה המתוכנן לחגוג את חייה של מרתה. הוא התלהב מאד מהרעיון וכמוהו שלש הבנות מישל, ג’ודי (הגרה ברמות עם משפחתה) ומרים.
השאר הוא (או יהיה), כמו שאומרים, היסטוריה: קונצרט הגאלה, במסגרת “אל תוך האור”, לחגוג את חייה של מרתה וייס ז”ל יתקיים ב-15.7.24 במוזיאון תל אביב לאומנויות (מצורף כאן הפלאייר הרשמי של הקונצרט, בעברית ובאנגלית) וכולכם מוזמנים, כמובן, לבוא לקונצרט.
יש לי בקשה נוספת אליכם. כל אירוע בתחום התרבות, בכל מקום בעולם, צריך תמיכה פיננסית, במיוחד מתורמים פרטיים. עבור קונצרט הגאלה, אנו מזהים תורמים פוטנציאליים בעיקר (בגלל הקשר רב השנים של משפחת וייס לאוסטרליה) בשתי אוכלוסיות יעד, הקהילה ממוצא אוסטרליה בישראל והקהילה היהודית באוסטרליה, אבל גם בין אלה (לא-אוסטרליים) שהכירו את מרתה והרולד באופן אישי: אוכלוסייה אחרונה זו כוללת חברי קהילת מצפה רמות.
אנו יוצרים תוכנייה מרשימה וחגיגית לקונצרט הגאלה ותורמים פוטנציאליים יכולים לרכוש שטח בתוכנייה ולכתוב מסר לפי בחירתם. גם מצורפת כאן רשימת של רמות תרומה מוצעות, לפי גודל השטח הנרכש בתוכנייה. אני מבקש להציג לכם רעיון – שחברי קהילת מצפה רמות ירכשו במשותף שטח של עמוד שלם (ברמת תרומה של 5000 ₪), כאשר כל אחד מכם יתרום 250 ₪ לסך הכול. לדעתי, ואני מקווה גם לדעתכם, יותר מרשים אם מסר אחד של הקהילה יופיע בתוכנייה, במקום קבוצה של שטחים ומסרים אישיים.
עמותת “העולם המרהיב של מוסיקה יהודית” מוכרת כארגון צדקה לכל דבר וכל אחד מכם המצטרף לתרומה הקבוצתית בסכום 250 ₪ יזכה לקבלה רשמית על סכום זה וכן לניכוי מס מקסימלי (לפי סעיף 46) על תרומתו.
אשמח לקבל תגובותיכם לרעיון: נא להשיב באימייל או ב-WhatsApp – אני/אני לא מצטרף לתרומה המשותפת בסכום 250 ש”ח. כמובן, כל אחד מכם המעדיף לרכוש שטח (ומסר) משלו יכול להודיע לי על כך.

Shalom and Shavua Tov to Rav Kannai and members of Kehillat Mitzpe Ramot,
First and foremost, I wish you all, together with your families, חג כשר ושמח.
Some – if not all – of you know that Marta and Harold Wise z”l were members of the Kehilla for more than 20 years, from the time they made Aliyah with their three daughters in 1998, from Australia. Marta, a survivor of Auschwitz, a remarkable woman who dedicated her life to the memory of the Holocaust, passed away a little less than a year ago. Her husband, Harold, passed away very recently.
Some – if not all – of you will also know me personally (I was a resident of Ramot Bet for some 13 years) and may also know that today I am in a 2nd career as a music producer, under the auspices of an Amuta I chair, called “Spectacular World of Jewish Music”.
As part of our overall activity, we are promoting a major project, with much international involvement, called “Into the Light: Celebrating the Rediscovery of the Lost Music of the Nazi Era”. The story behind this project is this, in brief: many Jewish composers from all over Europe were murdered by the Nazis, while many others fled to exile from Nazi persecution. The music of all these composers was lost to the world (hence the Lost Music of the Nazi Era) for many years after WWII. Some 40 years ago, a process began of rediscovering this music and a vast amount has been rediscovered: the rediscovered music is currently preserved in official archives around the world, but to the present, very little of it has been brought to the stage. The focus of our project, Into the Light, is to rectify this situation by bringing the music into the light.
We have produced 4 Into the Light concerts up to now, beginning in mid-2022: the latest concert was in Yad Vashem in January this year. All four concerts received significant coverage in the media.
Right from the beginning of work on the project in early 2021, we had wanted to stage a Gala Concert, to put Into the Light really on the map.
When Marta Wise z”l passed away, I did a Shiva call to see Harold and suggested producing the Gala Concert to celebrate the life of Marta z”l. He loved the idea, as did his three daughters, Michelle, Judy (who lives with her family) in Ramot) and Miriam.
The rest is (or will become) history: the Into the Light Gala Concert to celebrate the life of Marta Wise z”l will take place on 15.7.24 at the Tel Aviv Museum of the Arts in Tel Aviv (see attached the official flyer of the concert, in English and Hebrew), and you are all, of course, invited to attend.
I have an additional request of you all. Any cultural event, wherever it takes place, not only in Israel, needs to be sponsored financially, particularly by private donors, and for the Gala Concert, we are currently identifying potential sponsors, targeting principally (because of the Australian history of the Wise Family) the Australian community in Israel and the Jewish community in Australia, but also, all those, including non-Australians, who knew Marta and Harold personally: this latter group includes members of Kehillat Mitspe Ramot.
We will be producing a festive Gala Concert brochure and potential donors can purchase space in the brochure, including a message of their choice. I attach a list of suggested donation levels, where the level of donation varies according to the amount of space purchased. I would like to suggest an idea to you all – that Kehillat Mitspe Ramot as a body should purchase jointly a full-page space in the brochure (the donation level here is NIS 5000), with each of you making a contribution of NIS 250 to the total. In my opinion and I hope in yours as well, it would much more impressive for the Kehilla as a whole to include a suitable message to Marta and Harold than a bunch of individual spaces and messages.
Spectacular World of Jewish Music is a fully-recognized charitable organization and each donor of NIS 250 would get an official receipt, for which he can claim the maximum tax benefit on donations to charity (Clause 46).
I look forward to your responses regarding this: simply respond, by email or WhatsApp (via my cell 050-6770420) – I AGREE/DO NOT AGREE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE JOINT DONATION, IN THE AMOUNT OF NIS 250. Naturally, if some of you would prefer an individual space in the brochure, please let me know that as well.
