Shabbat morning groups for kids will start in the courtyard this week at 9:45. The format of Shabbat morning groups is still being developed. For this week, we will have two groups: ages 2-5 and ages 6-10. Parents of 2- and 3-year olds are asked to accompany their children during the program. The shul will be holding its Annual General Meeting on Motzaei Shabbat, 3 November. This meeting will only be open to all members who have made payment arrangements for their annual dues. If you have not yet made payment arrangements, please do so immediately.

פרופ’ בראון הוא מגדולי חוקרי מחשבת ישראל ופרסם מחקרים חשובים על פילוסופיה כללית, חסידות ונושאים רבים אחרים. ספרו על החזון איש היה לספר יסוד ביום שיצא לאור.
The community is invited to a lecture at Ramatayim Tzofim shul on Motzaei Shabbat this week, Parshat Lech Lecha, 20 October.
Professor Binyamin Brown will deliver a lecture on the topic, “Akedat Yitzchak in Haredi thought.”
Prof. Brown is amongst the greatest scholars of Jewish thought, and has published important studies on general philosophy, Hasidism and many other topics. His book about the Hazon Ish was considered a fundamental book on the topic on its day of publication.

As in previous years, we will be commemorating our dear son, brother, and friend, Dov Lerba. The memorial of Dov Lerba z “l will take place on Friday, 17 Cheshvan, 26 October 2018. The aliya lakever will take place at 10:00am. The kever is located in chelka ד’9 at Har Herzl.
Light refreshments will be served after the ceremony.
