The 9:15 minyan in Gan Gefen will not take place over the month of August, as the gan is undergoing renovations.
טכנאי שבא השבוע לתקן את המזגנים אמר שחייבים לסגור את כל החלונות ודלתות כשהמזגן פועל. פתיחת החלונות כשהיחידות דלוקות מכניסה אוויר חם מאובק לבית הכנסת וגורמת ליחידות לעבוד בעומס גבוה יותר, ומובילה לכך שהיחידות מתעבקות בפנים ואינן פועלות ביעילות.
בעת שהמזגנים פועלים יש לשמור על חלונות ודלתות סגורות.
We have been advised by the air conditioning technician who fixed the units this week that all windows must be closed while the air conditioning is on. Having the windows open with the units on brings hot dusty air into the shul and makes the units work at a higher load and strain, and leads to the units gumming up and not working effectively.
When the air conditioning is on, the doors and windows must remain closed.

We are delighted with the shul’s beautiful new doors! We owe a great thanks to our generous donor who sponsored them. The new doors have a new key to lock and unlock them. The bathroom key remains the same as the old key (So if you have one, don’t throw it out!!)
