בית כנסת מצפה רמות שמח להשתתף בפרויקט “שמחת תורה: רוקדים דרך הדמעות”, מאת המזרחי
הפרויקט משתדל לענות לשאלה הקשה כיצד להתקדם מהאבידות שסבלנו מאז שמחת תורה תשפ”ד, שבה התמודד העם היהודי עם היום הנורא ביותר מאז השואה.
בכל ליל שמחת תורה, בתי כנסת מסביב לעולם פותחים את ארון הקודש שלהם ומוציאים מספר ספרי תורה.
כמשתתף בפרויקט זה, השנה אחד מספרי התורה של מצפה רמות ילבש מעיל חדש, זהה למעילים בקהילות מסביב לעולם, המוקדש לנשמות הקדושות שאבדו ב-7 באוקטובר ואחרי כן.
המעיל יציג את שמו של קורבן אחד של שמחת תורה, ויחבר אותנו למאות אלפי יהודים המשתתפים בפרויקט.
נקבל את מעיל התורה החדש שלנו מבן משפחה של הקורבן ששמו מופיע במעיל שלנו בטקס בתחילת ספטמבר, יחד עם קהילות נוספות משתתפות מרחבי העולם.
עלות השתתפות בפרויקט הינה $1800. אנו מזמינים את כולכם לקחת חלק בפרויקט זה, ומציעים תרומה של 180 ש”ח למשפחה, אך כל תרומה, גדולה או קטנה, תתקבל בברכה.

Mitzpe Ramot is pleased to participate in the Simchat Torah Project: Dancing Through the Tears, an initiative of Mizrachi
The project seeks to respond to the difficult question of how to move forward from the losses suffered on and since last year’s Simchat Torah, in which the Jewish People faced the most horrific day since the Holocaust.
Every Simchat Torah night, batei knesset around the world open their aron kodesh and remove several Torah scrolls.
As participants of this project, this year one of Mitzpe Ramot’s sifrei Torah will be adorned with a new me’il, identical to Torah me’ilim in communities around the world, dedicated to the holy souls lost on and since 7 October.
The me’il will feature the name of a victim of the Simchat Torah massacre, and will connect us to hundreds of thousands of Jews as part of the project.
We will receive our new Torah cover from a family member of our named victim in a ceremony in early September, together with other participating communities from around the world.
The cost of the project is $1800. We invite you all to take part in this project, and suggest a 180NIS donation per family, though any donation, larger or smaller, would be welcomed.
