Thanks to everyone who helped our community celebrate Purim in our current challenging situation.

מאז 1 בינואר 2026 רשות המסים בישראל ביצעה שינויים באופן הנפקת קבלות עבור תרומות
בעמותות. מטרת השינוי היא להקל על כל תורם בביצוע תרומות.
לשם כך, כל מי שכבר תרם או מתכנן לתרום מתבקש להעביר את פרטיו: שם מלא, כתובת דוא״ל ומספר תעודת זהות.
אנא שלחו לרות הודעה פרטית עם הפרטים הללו.
פרטים נוספים יישלחו במהלך השבוע־שבועיים הקרובים.

A note from the Treasurer:
As of 1 January 2026, the Israel Tax Authority has made changes to the way that charitable donation receipts are to be handled by amutot. The intention is to make it easier for every donor to donate. To that end, each person who has made or will make donations must submit their name, email address and teudat zehut number. Please send Ruth a message with this information. More details will follow in the next week or two.

פורטל ה-פי אי אף, דרכו אנו מקבלים תרומות מתורמים מארה״ב, עומד לשדרג את המערכת בתקופה הקרובה. כתוצאה מכך תהיה תקופת השבתה זמנית בת שבועיים, במהלכה המערכת תהיה בלתי פעילה ולא ניתן יהיה לעבד תרומות או להעביר כספים לעמותות. תקופה זו תתקיים בין 28 במרץ ל־13 באפריל. אנא היערכו בהתאם ותזמנו את תרומותיכם בהתאם.

The PEF portal, where we receive donations from US donors will be upgrading their platform shortly. As a result, there will be a temporary two-week blackout period during which PEF will be offline and unable to process donor contributions or transfers to amutot. This blackout period will take place between March 28 and April 13.
Please schedule your contributions and donations accordingly.
