Many thanks to our wonderful volunteers: Thanks to those who decorated the shul so festively for Yom Haatzmaut, inside and out – Elli Bloom, Aharon Cassel, Daniel Fleisch, David Goodwin, Mark Guggenheim, Evan Heltay and Daniel Mishraki – and Hashiveinu, who organised the guided tour of San Simon for Yom Hazikaron and all the Yom Haatzmaut activities.
And thanks to Jonah Cohen, Yonni Cohen, Mark Guggenheim, Avrumi Katzin, James Kilner and Shlomo Simkin on hanging the awnings back up next to the pergola, ensuring we have plenty of shade over the summer months
We are always happy to add more folk to our roster of volunteers. If you have something you’d be happy to do for the shul, please be in touch with a vaad member or Ruth. We are still short 2 vaad members, so if you would like to have a say in the running of the shul, consider submitting your candidacy.

The azkara for our dear member Bella Harpaz will take place this Sunday. Following an aliya lakever, the family will be hosting an evening of learning and remembrance at Mitzpe Ramot following Maariv (approx 8pm)

השיעור של הרב קנאי בשבת לפני מנחה תתקיים בשעה 17:55 בנושא “ברכת שהחיינו על יום העצמאות ועל ספירת העומר“
Rav Kannai’s Shabbat afternoon shiur will take place at 5:55pm on the topic of Shehechiyanu on Yom Haatzmaut and on Sefirat Haomer.
כולם מוזמנים לבוא ללמוד בשבת בשעה 4:30, ולהתפלל מנחה לאחר מכן בשעה 5:15.
התכנית מיועדת לילדים ומבוגרים וכולם מוזמנים לבוא ולהוסיף לקולות תורה.
All are invited to come learn this Shabbat at Hashiveinu at 16:30 followed by Mincha at 17:15.
This program is intended for both adults and children and all are encouraged to come add to the Kol Torah.
ביום חמישי בבוקר יתקיים הלל מוזיקלי עם הרב נועם ולאחר מכן ארוחת בוקר קלה ופעילות לילדים. לילדים מומלץ להביא את כלי הנגינה שלהם לאירוע.
On Thursday morning, there will be musical hallel with Rav Noam followed by a light breakfast and kids activity. Kids are encouraged to bring their musical instruments to the event.
