Chana Lerba’s Yartzeit is on Monday 11 Av, 8 August 2022 at 18:00, we will pay our respects at Har Hamenuchot.
At 20:00, there will be an azkara at Beit Knesset Mitzpe Ramot.
לאחרונה, היו כמה מקרים כשדלת בית הכנסת הושארה פתוחה בכוונה, למשל עבור פועל, וחבר קהילה בעל כוונות טובות נעל אותה, ומנע גישה נחוצה. אנו מעוד מעריכים את הכוונה – חשוב לשמור על בטיחות בית הכנסת, ולשמור אותו נעול רוב הזמן (והיו פעמים שבטעות היא נשארה פתוחה ללא כוונה).

There have been a few incidents recently when a door in the shul has been left open intentionally, e.g. for a workman, and a well-meaning community member has locked the door, denying much needed access. We appreciate the intent behind the action – it is important to keep the shul safe and locked when necessary (and there have been times that it has accidentally been left unlocked).

Rav Kannai will give his Shabbat afternoon shiur before Mincha at 6:10pm on Shabbat on the topic of Yirmiyahu’s Rebuke: A Study of the Haftara.
יהיה לימוד חופשי בהשיבנו בשבת בשעה 4:30, ולאחר מכן מתפללים מנחה בשעה 17:15.
There will be once again be open Beit midrash at 4:30 this Shabbat in hashiveinu, followed by mincha at 5:15.
