We are very excited for our annual ice cream party on Shavuot afternoon ice cream provider Aron Buchman and Tova Osofsky, in memory of Tova’s parents, Anne and Joe Osofsky, and Aron’s parents Dubbie and Avram Buchman, who all loved ice cream.
חגגנו חגיגות נפלאות לציון יום ירושלים עם עשרות חברים שלמדו על אנשי ירושלמים מפורסמים ושרו ואכלו בשבת שעבר.
בעקבות זאת, ביום ראשון בערב חגגנו בתפילה חגיגית. תודה רבה לכל מי שהשתתף, במיוחד לרפי ברנט שהוביל את התוכנית של שבת ושלמה סמוביץ שהוביל את התפילה בליל ראשון.
We had some wonderful celebrations to mark Yom Yerushalayim, with dozens of folk learning about famous personalities of Jerusalem, singing their hearts out and eating a delicious seuda shlishit. This was followed on Sunday night by a heartfilled tefilla chagigit. Many thanks to all who made it happen, particularly Rafi Barnett for leading the Shabbat afternoon program and Shlomo Samowitz for leading the Sunday night davening.
