Guided tour of Nebi Samuel National Park – one of Israel’s most amazing historical sites – 5 minutes from Ramot
You are invited to take a 1.5 hour guided tour of Nebi Samuel National Park on Friday February 25 at 10 am, conducted by Aharon Cassel, an official Nebi Samuel guide.
Traditionally recognized as the burial place of Shmuel Hanavi, Nebi Samuel contains remains from the First Temple, Hasmonean, Roman, Muslim, Crusader and Mamaluke periods, as well as being of historical importance during the British Mandate and modern times. We will also learn about triumphs and tragedies connected to Nebi Samuel – Shmuel Hanavi, Gedaliah, Yehudah HaMaccabi, Nezach Yisrael, “Poza” and more.
