In conjunction with this week’s parsha in which Hashem extends bikur cholim to Avraham Avinu, we are pleased to announce the formation of a Bikur Cholim Committee for the benefit of the members of Beit Knesset Mitzpe Ramot. We are actively looking for volunteers (both men and women) to participate in the following areas:
* Hospital visits
* Home visits – each of which can be done singly or in pairs
* Transportation to or from medical visits (doctors, therapies or treatments)
* Accompanying patients to a doctor’s visit

Next Motzaei Shabbat, 23 November, we will be hosting the shul Annual General Meeting. Only paid-up members are eligible to submit and vote on resolutions at the AGM.

Yanki Weiss will continue in his 2-year term for another year. Daniel Gordon, Evan Heltay and Chaja Lavon are all candidates for reelection.

Please note that the latest time for Kriyat Shema is 8:43 on Shabbat morning. Sof zman tfilla is 9:37. Those davening in the 9:00 minyanim should be advised to recite shema before coming to shul.
Once again, the shul minyan will commence at 8:50, and the gan minyan will commence at 9:00 this week.
שמענו תלונות עזות מאת המנקים על מצב שרותי בית הכנסת אחרי שבתות ואירועים. הורים מתבקשים לשגיח על ילדיהם הקטנים בשירותים. אנא התייחסו לשרותי ביה”כ כמו שבביתכם, וזכרו כי בן-אדם מנקה אחרי האירוע.
We have had some harsh complaints recently from the cleaners about the state the toilets have been left in, after Shabbatot and events. Parents are asked to supervise their small children in the bathrooms; please treat the bathrooms as you would those in your own home, and remember that it is a human being who cleans the stall after the weekend.

We once again have a full Shabbat morning kids program, from 8am, with cocoa club learning, Tefilla in shul, park time with babysitters, and groups.
Kol Hanearim will stat at 6:00 on Motzei Shabbat.

We will be commemorating 25 years since losing our dear son, brother, and friend, Dov Lerba. The memorial of Dov Lerba z “l will take place on Friday, 15th November, 2019. The aliya lakever will take place at 10:00am. The kever is located in chelka ד’9 at Har Herzl.
Light refreshments will be served in the pergola of the chelka after the ceremony.
