This Shabbat, we will enjoy a Shabbat of Torah and Song with world renowned singer and Torah personality, Rav Shlomo Katz.
R’ Shlomo will join us at different events throughout the Shabbat, including:
Kabbalat shabbat and drasha in the main minyan on Friday night;
Oneg Shabbat at the Prochko family home (15 Mishol HaRotem) at 20:20;
Mussaf and drasha at the 9:00 minyan on Shabbat morning, followed by kiddusha raba;
Please note that Mincha will be at 16:00, and not as previously advertised;
Seudat shlishit at the Mezei family home (22 Maale Oranim) at 4:15 Shabbat afternoon.
Musical havdallah/ melava malka at 6pm at the Ohr Torah girls school, 1 Tzondek.

From Mitzpe Ramot, either walk up Tzondek and climb the rainbow coloured stairs at the first bus stop on the left (ramp/accessible entrance this way), or climb the stairs towards Gan Dina and turn right immediately after the ganim to find your way to Ohr Torah.

Due to renovations in the gan building, there will be no minyan in the gan next week, Shabbat Chanuka.

Please note that the latest time for Kriyat Shema is 9:04 on Shabbat morning. Those davening in the 9:00 and 9:15 minyanim should be advised to recite shema before coming to shul.

We once again have a full Shabbat morning kids program, from 8am, with cocoa club learning, Tefilla in shul, park time with babysitters, and groups.
Kol Hanearim will not take place this Motzei Shabbat.

On 25 January, Mitzpe Ramot will be hosting a screening of 93Queen, sponsored by Vivian and Moshe Spierer on the occasion of the 25th yahrtzeits of their mothers. This movie tells the story of the founding of the first female EMT organization in New York, Ezras Nashim, and will be followed by a presentation and discussion by Gitty Beer, founder of the Women’s Division of United Hatzalah of Israel, which is not affiliated with Hatzalah of the US. Ezras Nashim, as portrayed in the film, is a controversial subject to this day. We invite you to see the film and learn the facts.
